What we do
Landscape design and installation
Design: We collaborate with you to create a custom design that is tailored to your lifestyle and responds to the unique conditions of your site.
Install: We bring your landscape to life using industry best practices and state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring excellent craftsmanship.
Educate: We believe in setting you up for long-term success. We walk you through the details of how your landscape was built and provide guidance on future stewardship. Additionally, we document the installation process to give you a deeper understanding of your property; this documentation also contributes to our educational platform, LandscapeSmarter.com, helping to guide others.
- It includes multiple elements of a high-performing landscape.
For example: you want to create a pollinator habitat, reduce your water bill, add a social space, and have a nature-inspired play area for kids. - Our timelines work well together.
We always prioritize quality of work over quantity, and take on fewer projects in a year than most design and install firms. This means your project might not start immediately. - You’re near the Fort Collins, Colorado area.
- A team of experts works together on your design.
Our in-house team has rigorous standards and years of experience– plus, we work with specialists in horticulture, wildlife biology and more to ensure the highest-quality outcome for your project. - We pay meticulous attention to your wants and needs.
Do you want a peaceful sanctuary for birdwatching, or a lively space for entertainment and play? We’ll help you get inspired and clarify your vision and goals so you end up with a landscape perfectly suited to you. - We have state-of-the-art installation capabilities.
Our install crew members are experienced craftspeople who understand nuance and detail just as much as the big picture. We utilize advanced equipment which helps us prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency. - We offer long-term guidance.
We define a successful landscape as one that continues benefitting you year after year. Our responsibility to you lasts just as long. We will always be available for your questions and observations as they come up. - Your landscape will have ripple effects.
When you work with Superseed, your landscape does more than benefit you and your immediate environment. Techniques, tips, and outcomes– shared through LandscapeSmarter.com– serve as inspiration for others.
Every step of the design and installation process is documented with notes and photographs. We do two things with this documentation:
- You receive a bundle with detailed information about your project. These documents are immensely helpful to have on hand, especially if you need to troubleshoot or change your landscape down the line.
- We use select parts of this documentation as educational material. Curated photographs and descriptions of each project will live on LandscapeSmarter.com as a resource to help others. We will always protect your privacy, and we make sure that you’re comfortable with what we share.

We Don’t Wing It
At Superseed, we believe successful sitework is always downstream of good design. If the plan isn’t right, the project won’t be either. That’s why we obsess over understanding your goals and your site’s unique characteristics long before we break ground. We expect our work to last for decades, and that requires more than just a shovel; it requires a strategy.
Our design process adapts to the specific needs of the project and the client. We have a large technical toolbox to grab from. Whether it’s a hand-drawn sketch to capture a feeling, or a detailed 3D visualization, we have the technical chops to bring any vision to life.
You won’t see a designer disappear once the digging starts. The same team implementing the plan is the one that drew it. We even use the front of our equipment trailer as a mobile design studio. This keeps us agile, allowing us to solve site-specific challenges on the fly without losing sight of the vision.
