CASE STUDIES:
landscape Design & Install

We work closely with you to create a beautiful landscape that is uniquely tailored to your life.

Then, we document our installation process and share the results to our Landscape Action Guide– making your landscape a “case study” for others.

You can apply to be a Superseed Case Study. If the project is a good fit, we’ll be in touch to schedule a follow-up conversation.

  1. It includes multiple elements of a high-performing landscape.
For example: you want to create a pollinator habitat and replace your turf, reduce your water bill, add a social space, and have a play area for kids.
  2. Our timelines work well together.
We always prioritize quality of work over quantity, and take on fewer projects in a year than most design and install firms. This means your project might not start immediately.
  3. You’re near the Fort Collins, Colorado area.
  1. A team of experts works together on your design.
Our in-house team has rigorous standards and years of experience– plus, we work with specialists in horticulture, ecology, wildlife biology and more to ensure the highest-quality outcome for your project.
  2. We pay meticulous attention to your wants and needs.

Do you want a peaceful sanctuary for birdwatching, or a lively space for entertainment and play? Is your primary goal reducing waste and costs, or is it creating a self-sustaining habitat that requires minimal upkeep? We’ll help you get inspired and clarify your vision and goals so you end up with a landscape perfectly suited to you.
  3. We have state-of-the-art installation capabilities.
Our install crew members are experienced craftspeople who prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency.

We use primarily electric equipment— our plate compactors, demolition saws, vacuum lifters, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other small equipment are all electric. We minimize soil compaction by using low ground pressure machinery, ground protection mats, and monitoring.
  4. We offer long-term guidance.
We define a successful landscape as one that continues benefitting you year after year. Our responsibility to you lasts just as long. We will always be available for your questions and observations as they come up.
  5. Your landscape will have ripple effects.
When you become a Superseed Case Study, your landscape does more than benefit you and your immediate environment. Techniques, tips, and outcomes– shared to our Landscape Action Guide– serve as inspiration for others in your community.

Every step of the design and installation process is documented with notes and photographs. We do two things with this documentation:

  • You receive a bundle with detailed information about your project. These documents are immensely helpful to have on hand, especially if you need to troubleshoot or change your landscape down the line.
  • We use select parts of this documentation as educational material. Curated photographs and descriptions of each project will live on our Landscape Action Guide as an interactive resource for others to navigate. We will always protect your privacy, and we make sure that you’re comfortable with what we share.
